First Winners Crowned at World Figure Skating Championships 2023

Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara continued their winning ways by taking gold at the World Figure Skating Championships 2023 in Saitama, Japan. The Japanese pair received Personal Best (PB) scores in both the Short Program and the Free Skate which led to a PB Total score. Despite a couple of uncharacteristic mistakes in their Free Skate they managed to seal a home victory with the help of their points lead from their wonderful Short Program performance.
