Kaori Sakamoto is due to lead Team Japan at World Team Trophy competition in Tokyo, Japan. The event takes place from 13 – 16th April 2023 and will see teams from around the world compete. Many skaters remained in Japan after the World Championships and performed in ice shows, including Yuzuru Hanyu’s shows, while waiting for this last event of the current season.
Mai Mihara, Shoma Uno and Kazuki Tomono join Sakamoto in the Japanese lineup. The team will be completed by Pairs team Riku Miura and Ryiuchi Kihara and Ice Dance couple Kana Muramoto & Daisuke Takahashi. The Japanese really do have an enviable team this year!
Other teams that have qualified include Canada, France, USA, Italy and South Korea.

- Italy – Marco Fabbri
- Japan – Kaori Sakamoto
- Korea – Junhwan Cha
- USA – Jason Brown
