Japanese figure skater, Marin Honda / 本田 真凜, recently posted an update confirming that she is working with renowned figure skating choreographer, Shae-Lynn Bourne. Marin seemed to hint that this may be her last season by captioning the story “Final Chapter”.

If this turns out to be the case, she couldn’t have picked a better choreographer to help her make a statement exit from the competitive scene. And this talented pairing have collaborated on skating programs in the past.
Marin is a wonderfully graceful and expressive skater and Shae-Lynn is a former Olympian herself who also played a huge role in choreographing some of Yuzuru Hanyu’s / 羽生 結弦 most iconic Olympic programs. We’re excited to see what this creative figure skating collaboration will produce!
Stay tuned for updates, we’ll post more details as news comes in!
