Yuxuan Liu (Alice), 刘玉萱, made history becoming the first Chinese woman to land a quad in competition! 🇨🇳 She achieved this milestone during the Advanced Novice Free Skate at Stage 1 of the Chinese Interclub League. Although her quad salchow was called on the quarter, but it’s still such an impressive accomplishment! ✨

And following in the ambitious footsteps of Japan’s Kao Miura from the 2024-2025 season, when he successfully competed in 2 competitive events in one weekend, Yuxuan Liu competed in two divisions of the competition in Jinan where she achieved gold in the Senior Women’s event while also placing 1st in the Advanced Novice event. This rising star of figure skating is certainly one to watch!

At only 12 years old, Yuxuan isn’t eligible to compete internationally on the junior circuit quite yet, but we’re looking forward to the day when she gets the chance.

She trains mostly in China but also spends time working and training with Team Tutberidze.

@yuxuanliu.skater is an incredibly hard worker, and with her determination, it’s only a matter of time before she lands it clean in competition. We’ll be cheering her on every step of the way! 🙌
