About the Grand Prix Series:
- ISU Grand Prix series started in 1995
- Skaters are seeded based on their results in the previous ISU World Figure Skating Championships
- The top 12 individuals and couples are guaranteed 2 Grand Prix assignments
- Skaters acquire points at their Grand Prix assignments that count towards potential qualification for the Grand Prix Final
- Only the top 6 Skaters/Couples in each discipline qualify for the GP Final
