With the building of a new ice rink, the addition of new skaters and now new coaching staff with the arrival of Filipp Tarasov, Team Tutberidze continues to grow.
According to an article on the RSport website, Tarasov has informed RIA Novosti that he is transferring to Eteri Tutberidze’s team.
The pairs coach also confirmed that his team and skaters are moving with him too, “We are transferring to Eteri Tutberidze. Officially, from June 1. The whole group is transferring, including Mukhortova & Evgenyev. Everyone is trying to change their lives for the better to achieve some goals. There is an opportunity – why not use it,” Tarasov said.
This latest news comes soon after another top pairs figure skating team, Boikova & Kozlovski, announced that they were leaving Tamara Moskvina’s training group to also join Team Tutberidze.
This rapid expansion of the Tutberidze training group is extremely interesting to watch, and we can’t wait to see what happens next.
