It’s been an exciting week for figure skating fans with the International Skating Union (ISU) publishing the 2023-2024 figure skating competition schedule. The Senior World Championships will be held in Montreal, Canada from 18-24th March 2024 while Junior Worlds will be held in Taipei City between the 26th February – 3rd March 2024.
It is still unknown who will host the European Figure Skating Championships 2024, with the event still be listed as TBD on the calender.

On May 11, as reported by Reuters, “Hungary’s skating federation said the country has withdrawn from hosting the 2024 European Figure Skating Championships”. Could Torina, Italy be a possible option?
Japan will host 3 competitions:
- 2023 Junior Grand Prix of Japan (September 13-16th, Osaka, Japan)
- 2023 Japan Open (October 7th, Saitama, Japan)
- 2023 NHK Trophy (November 24-26th, Osaka, Japan)
Beijing will host both the Senior and Junior Grand Prix Final from 7 – 10th December 2023.
China will also host the Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2024 in Shanghai from 29th Jan. – 4th Feb. 2024.
