Rising figure skating star, Kimmy Repond of Switzerland, has travelled to Canada to work with renowned choreographer David Wilson. Over the past few days she has posted updates to her Instagram account. This is a really interesting development and we can’t wait to see how everything goes.
The reel description was posted in German but translates as follows:
During the World Championships in Japan, the opportunity developed for me to rehearse my new programs with David Wilson. I am very excited to train in this new environment in Canada and to rehearse the programs with David Wilson. It is also very important for me that Jérômie accompanies me, because all these new ideas have to be implemented and trained with the coach at home. Tomorrow it starts: Flight to Canada is gebuchtv🇨🇦

Kimmy also posted some Instagram stories at the famous Cricket Club with her sister as well as some training and on-ice videos. And, of course, there was time for a quick cup of coffee! We’ll post more news as it becomes available!
Kimmy has made wonderful progress this past season, and has handled her growth spurt amazingly well. She finished 3rd at the European Championships 2023 at Espoo, Finland and we can’t wait to see what next season has in store!
